It was a great set of performances at the conference championship meets. Teams were looking to win conference titles and athletes were attempting to qualify for the top 16 marks in individual events and top 12 marks in the relays. Ryan Crouser of Texas continued his return to form and tied the collegiate record in the shot put at 71-3 3/4. Felicia Brown of Tennessee won the 200m at the SEC Indoor Championships and became the third fastest collegian eve, 22.45. Molly Seidel won the ACC 5000m title in 15:19.64 to move to third all-time on a banked 200m track and then won the 3000m the next day in 9:02.24.

Zack Bilderback Texas - Zack won the Big 12 championship 400m in a collegiate leading 45.27, ninth all-time among US collegians, and then came back to win the 200m in 20.79 and helped the Longhorns finish second in the 4x400m relay in 3:05.17.

Mikiah Brisco LSU - She beat her teammate, Daeshon Gordon, to win the SEC championships over 60m hurdles in 8.05 and then beat the collegiate leader over 60m, Shayla Sanders of Florida, to win the 60m title in 7.18, the second fastest time of the year.

Felicia Brown Tennessee - She faced defending NCAA champion Kyra Jefferson of Florida in the SEC Conference final after running 22.73 in the preliminatires (.01 off the collegiate leader). She took off and held form, running away from Jefferson (22.76), and became the #3 all-time collegian at 22.45.

Ryan Crouser Texas - Until his third meet of the season his best was 20.02m. Through three rounds of the Husky Classic his best was 20.50m. In the final three rounds he threw 20.85m, 21.11m, and then 21.28m for a pr (69-9 3/4). He continued his run at Big 12 championships and won in a collegiate record-tying 21.73m, 71-3 1/2.

Chukwuebuka Enekwechi Purdue - He won his first Big 10 weight throw title with a best of 23.76m, 77-11 1/2 and he was second in the shot put with a near personal record best 19.61m, 64-4. He now has the top three weight throw performances of the year.

Erin Finn Michigan - On day one of the Big 10 championships Erin dominated the 5000m with a winning time of 15:37.31 (13 seconds) and came back the next day to win the 3000m in 9:08.09 to help the Wolverines win the team title.

Akela Jones Kansas State - On day 1 of the Big 12 championships she won the long jump with a collegiate-leading 6,75m jump and on day 2 won the 60m hurdles in 8.00, 4th on the collegiate list, and the high jump with a collegiate leading leap of 1.93m, 6-4.

Courtney Okolo Texas - With the potential to help the Longhorns win the Big 12 title and possible NCAA title, she doubled at the Big 12 meet. She won the 200m in 22.79 and a collegiate leading 400m in 51.06.

Molly Seidel Notre Dame - She won the 5000m on day 1 in 15:19.64, 3rd fastest all-time among collegians on a 200m banked track, and then came back to win the 3000m on day 2 in 9:02.24 in an attempt to help the team win the team title (Notre Dame was third with 82 behind Miami with 85 and Clemson with 83).

Izaic Yorks Washington - Izaic made an aggressive move and took the lead after  his teammate Blake Nelson, pressed the pace for the first 800m. Sean McGorty of Stanford went with him. McGorty closed hard but could not pass him and they finished in the top collegiate times this year, 3:53.89 to 3:53.95. Those are the fastest times ever on an oversized track and they are the third and fourth fastest times ever indoors. They are also the fastest times ever in college only competitions (the other times were run at Millrose).
